Auto Open Doors Terraria

A pic would have made this easier p it is probably something like a torch preventing it from opening in a certain direction a lil tip for you you can still open the door in the opposite direction when standing at the correct distance this is useful to stop mobs from coming in as they are only able to open the door away from them.

Just had a bit of trouble opening the door to my house had to stand backward for some reason i fixed it but it bugged the hell out of me. Doors will now automatically open for you when approached. Plate lever etc a door and a timer the faster the better. May 4 2016 9 50am arent we able to auto open doors.

There are tons of wir. The part that normally isn t there when it s closed is acted upon by the wire. Place your door down wherever and place wire directly in front and in back of the door hook the wiring up to your trigger switches are usually better for this and place the timer somewhere in the wiring. Opening and closing a door should be a simple thing to do and it is however for me it took a bit of hunting around on the internet to figure it out.

I know on xbox you can just walk into a door and it opens i havent kept up on update release.
