The augusta health emergency department ed is a well equipped facility staffed by board certified emergency physicians and highly qualified experienced emergency nurses offering medical care to the critically ill and injured. Augusta university health specializes in the emergency treatment of traumatic critical care injuries 24 hours a day 7 days a week. New and enhanced facilities enable more efficient service.
